The total love affair with the game of golf continues for the Urban Legend. With the @PGATOUR playoffs finishing up week one and with the Ryder Cup teams being announced, the wonderful story of a 15 year old ameutuer winning on the @LPGA Tour was the lead story. Only in golf can an individual young or old have the ability to out perform players in their prime on the same field of play. Watching Amatuer Lydia Ko, @KO_Lyds, win the Canadian Women’s Open last week was special. What I found a bit more interesting was watching her playing partners and players who finished earlier in the day cheer her on as she finished her round. Also reading the tweets from @LPGA players simultaneously as @KO_Lyds was finishing up on the 18th was refreshing. I also believe only in the golf community would a 15 year old amateur get support from fellow amateurs, professionals and retired athletes. It was refreshing to say the least:):)
