It was time to decide what the goal is for the 2016 season. All winter the talk around softer golf balls and more feel really resonated with me. As much golf as The Urban Legend has played over the years the true joy is in the feel..ing of enjoying the experience. Why would anyone not want to enjoy the feel of golf? I am sure the golfers of the past felt everything from the golf shots to the turf they played on. Feel is so important to the full experience of golf. Last year The Urban Legend began playing forged muscle back irons and the feel, of a pure shot with those is explainable. So this season The Urban Legend wanted to improve the feel of golf and the first step in improving that feel is with the ball. The goal of this season is to see which golf ball truly feels the best on the course. Which ball feels the best of the driver, of those lovely forged blades of yesteryear, around the greens, off the putter and sounds the best when hitting the bottom of the cup. The Urban Legend is completely excited to share this journey in 2016. Today is Thursday March 24, 2016 and it has reached 80 degrees here which may have finally signaled the start of this 2016 journey.
